A Key Step Forward
As we continue to build momentum for the ETH-TECH project, we are pleased to announce the establishment of our Advisory Board — an essential component of our efforts to ensure that the project’s outcomes are meaningful, practical, and impactful.
The Advisory Board brings together a diverse group of professionals from NGOs, higher education institutions, schools, and companies, each with a unique perspective to enrich our work. Their input will play a crucial role in shaping and validating our tools, resources, and educational frameworks across all phases of the project.
Why an Advisory Board?
The role of the Advisory Board is multifaceted and covers critical areas of the project:
- Testing and Validation:
During the participatory validation phases of Work Packages 2 and 4, the Advisory Board will help us ensure that our outputs — such as the self-check framework and OERs — are not just theoretical but also practical and relevant to educators and trainers in real-world settings. - Resource Development:
As we develop the OERs (Work Package 3), Advisory Board members will provide insights into what future educators need to know for the ethical adoption of educational technology. They will help us address questions like:- What kind of educator do future employers want?
- How can we design resources that are useful beyond the higher education context, such as for vocational training or informal learning?
- Dissemination and Impact:
With their links to different sectors — including NGOs and schools — the Advisory Board will support our dissemination efforts (Work Package 5), helping ETH-TECH to reach wider audiences and make a real difference.
A Participatory Approach
At the core of this collaboration is the idea of “participatory curriculum validation” — an approach that draws on feedback from all stakeholders to refine and enhance educational resources. Similar to the “Parity Commissions” at the University of Padua, which assess the quality of university courses, the Advisory Board will contribute suggestions to align our work with the needs of educators, trainers, and professional profiles.
Who’s Joining the Advisory Board?
We are thrilled to collaborate with an impressive group of individuals who bring a wealth of experience:

We’re grateful for their willingness to support ETH-TECH and look forward to working together to make our vision for ethical and technological education a reality!
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to build this important partnership.
